This was only the second time going to a Get Doncaster Moving networking event as they’re only 4 times a year, I think the last one I went to was a year ago.

I was quite keen to go to this event though and hopefully be a regular at them as it’s a big part of what we’re about, Getting Doncaster Moving and help Doncaster residents.

It was at a venue I’d never been before and mostly new faces so I was quite anxious to start, but as usual I grew into it.

Out of all the events and networking I do this is the longest in duration which also triggers my anxiety.

It was especially interesting and rewarding to not only see visually how much the Get Doncaster Moving network had grown, but more importantly the fantastic impact organisations like MHFC are positively impacting Doncaster.

We learnt that Get Doncaster Moving was one of the leading areas/organisations in comparison to other similar things in other towns and cities.

At MHFC, we’re only just getting started and have big plans and ambitions, although these are unfortunately taking longer to achieve than wanted, mainly due to expensive pitch hire costs.

If you’d have said where MHFC would be now and achieved by now I wouldn’t have believed you and we aren’t even two years old yet, but now I’m here, I want to reach more people and help more people.

Let’s keep going 💪👏🙌💚⚽️
