Yesterday I joined The Dons mental health walk, I went with Toni, but we really didn’t know what to expect.
Before yesterday, the only other person I knew who was going, was Harry (The Don), but of course he’d be busy with the event, so I was slightly anxious about it being busy and not knowing many people, almost going back to the start of the networking process.
But, knowing Toni was going helped, as we had each other and could just stick together if we didn’t know anyone else.
It turned out that there were actually a few other business connections and friends attending, which I didn’t know about, Hannah, Charlotte and Alicia.
As we were split into groups, the five of us managed to stick together, and it was a very enjoyable walk, and because we were all chatting and having a laugh, it seemed to go very quickly.
After the walk, we all went for a drink at the Temple, and it was just such a good time…. relaxed, having a quick drink, chat, laughs and in the sun, what more could you want 🙌
I also bumped into Yasmin, who thankfully joined us for a drink as well 😊

Thank you again to Harry (The Don), for the support yesterday, Harry also wore his ‘The Don’ shirt and MHFC wristband for photos and interviews after the walk.
And the absolute bonus of the day was meeting and chatting to Daisy Tomlinson and Martin, thank you for your time and support, they were brilliant with me and showed a lot of support for MHFC.
Shoutout to the 3 year old who joined the walk and managed the full distance 🤯
Charlotte also wore the MHFC shirt along with her Pageant Crown and sash while doing a video about the Baton of Hope.
Thank you to Toni, Hannah and Charlotte for wearing MHFC shirts for the walk, sorry Alicia that I didn’t have a fourth for you to wear.
