This morning I was very stressed due to technology problems at home, and in the rush of taking my daughter to school and travelling to the Marketing Forum, I completely forgot about the finalists announcement.
Without knowing I parked next to Steve Egbury and Steve Yates, who quickly told me Mental Health FC CIC was a finalist for one award and it being Local Impact, I was in disbelief and really didn’t believe them.
After entering the room, I was told by someone else (sorry I forget who) that MHFC was a finalist for one award being Sole Trader, I honestly thought there was confusion and either way it was just one award.
Then I saw the smiling Samantha confirmed we were up for both!!!
So today, the amazing news and the brilliant Marketing Forum event was in the middle of quite a stressful and anxiety triggering day.

I honestly thought there was no chance of being a finalist at all, never mind in TWO categories.

What started as a non-profit and personal journey from scratch just over three years ago, to help the mental health of people in Doncaster, along with my own as well.
Doing everything I can, to help, support and improve the mental health of as many people as possible, through football, experiences, surprises and now even relaxed business networking (Let’s Chat).
The winners will be announced on the 3rd December, but I’m more than happy to just be a finalist, anything else is a bonus, being a finalist allows more exposure for MHFC and mental health awareness π
