CIVIC MAYOR AWARD PRESENTATION
This morning was the Civic Mayor Award presentation!!
What a surreal moment and something that is still yet to properly sink in.
Thank you to everyone who attended and made me feel so calm and welcome.
A huge thank you to Julie and Leanne for their incredible support in me and MHFC.
They’ve gone above and beyond to help me and MHFC and I’m so grateful.
I’m unbelievably driven to develop, improve and push MHFC to be as good as it can.
My goal is to introduce mental health kickabout sessions in as many towns and cities around the UK as possible, to help people suffering from mental health all around the UK.
We’ve already started doing this by starting sessions in Scunthorpe and Retford, there are plans to launch soon in more areas.
Having said that though, Doncaster will always be one of my main aims and helping the Doncaster people in anyway I can.
In the future, I hope to help more ages as well…… toddlers, kids, teens and the older generation.
My only regret is MHFC isn’t further along as it is, but as people know, this isn’t down to me, it’s down to money (isn’t everything), and being able to be in a position to hire venues to hold all the sessions we want while be financially comfortable and sustainable.
When all sessions are up and running we’ll have 545 ACTIVE MEMBERS and helping 170 people PER WEEK 😮
Thank you to all the volunteers who help me run, manage and improve sessions, without you MHFC wouldn’t be growing and helping as many people as it is 🙌
