MHFC was lucky enough to be gifted its third exec box hospitality experience of the season and also the SECOND of the season from our new MHFC Doncaster sponsors…. Taylor Stevenson.
After being able to treat all the people and volunteers who help manage and run MHFC sessions throughout Doncaster, we wanted to focus on the MHFC members who’ve been with us since very early on.
Several from the very first session back in July 2023, and others who joined not long after and before we started to expand, and quite a few of them also attend multiple sessions during the week.
As well as enjoying the exec box, food and hospitality, a few of us also managed to join the club tour, which even took us into the changing room, and in and around the players.
Everyone loved it and was so thankful for the experience, Liam who’s a big Rovers fan, said that he didn’t expect the Rovers players to be in the changing rooms when we were on the tour, so that was a HUGE bonus for him.
Stephen said the following about how MHFC sessions help him and also about the exec box hospitality experience….
“I came across MHFC while looking for ways to improve my mental health and meet new people. It helped me rediscover my love for football and find a great group of people who support each other, with plenty of banter along the way.
The hospitality invite at Doncaster Rovers was a great experience and a chance to spend more time together off the pitch. It was actually my first live game, and I couldn’t have picked a better group to share it with. If anyone is thinking about coming along to a session, I’d definitely recommend it.”

‼️THANK YOU….
I just wanted to give a special thank you and mention to Kev.
Since hosting the box experiences, I’ve realised just how draining and stressful I find it, not only organising before the event, but during it as well.
On this occasion, Kev offered to help organise it, and in the end, Kev took full control.
Organising the people going, the food, parking spaces, giving out info, answering questions and also hosting and organising while we were there.
This meant I was calm and relaxed in the days leading up to the game, the day of the game and during the game, I was able to feel better and enjoy the experience myself.
Most importantly for me, it meant that although I was tired the next day, I DIDN’T wake up with a tension headache.
THANK YOU KEV
Good to see familiar business connections and friends in hospitality as well.
The only thing I’m gutted about is that we didn’t get a proper group photo in the box, and while watching the game, as I have on past occasions.
‘MHFC EXPERIENCES’ and ‘MHFC SURPRISES’ are something we hope to do more of in the future, it could be tickets to a game, hospitality, meet and greet, signed merch, stadium tour, football kit or equipment, or anything else we could sort for the MHFC community members or anyone else we hear about.
The more we can do for people, the better and give as many different people as many different opportunities and experiences as possible to give them a mental boost 🤞🙏
Maybe something they’ve never been able to attend before, but we can give them that opportunity 💚
‼️If anyone has any links or contacts to people at sports clubs that could help us provide these experiences, please get in touch 😊
